Art to capture nature in the New Forest

A lovely lady who had previously bought one of my Seasons pieces for her son was looking for a bespoke print of the area she lived in - the New Forest, in Hampshire.

A lush landscape bringing bright and vibrant colour

Surrounded by beautiful greenery, her brief was to create an image of a landscape of trees in each season, including the bright fuschia rhododendrons that flowered in Spring.

J loved my bright colours and geometric illustrative style for foliage. Colours she suggested including were gorgeous brights from lime to fuschia, purple and orange.

Proofing and collaboration

At the proofing stage, J loved the colours and my style, and how the leaves and trees flowed through each season. She wanted the piece to feel ‘fuller’, so we worked together to make adjustments. It was a collaborative process, creating a rich, layered piece that reflected everything she’d sought.
